Job Details Zimmi’s is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team! Zimmi's is a 40 seat restaurant in the West Village that focuses on regional French cuisine. We feature traditional, time-intensive, craft-based French dishes rarely seen outside of France. About this role Zimmi’s is seeking skilled full time Dishwasher to join the team! Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and DOH standards of the restaurant and Dish Section, as well as cleanliness of the restaurant space. We focus on cooking traditional French food using produce, meat and dairy sourced from local and organic farms in New York State, the East Coast, and California. We aim to create a respectful workplace culture whose foundation is based on collaborative work with both FOH and BOH colleagues, respectful communication among staff, product knowledge, staff education, and open communication. Job Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a spotless and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to cleanliness standards. Dispose of trash properly and ensure kitchen floors are clean and safe. Provide support to kitchen staff with cleaning, organization, and other tasks as needed. Strictly follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment . Job Requirements: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods. A team-oriented mindset with a positive and cooperative attitude. Experience and Skills Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
